Sacramental Preparation

Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Communion and Confirmation are celebrated throughout the year. 
Contact the parish office or see below for details of the current schedule.  Preparation for adults depends on
individual circumstances.  Call the parish to make an appointment to begin.

Reconciliation

The Sacrament of Reconciliation (also known as Penance or Confession) is celebrated:

      - 30 minutes before every weekday and weekend Mass;
      - at Communal Liturgies during Advent and Lent;
      - individually by appointment arranged through the office.

Marriage

Any Catholic who is presently a  member of  the parish, and who is free to marry, can be married at St. Aloysius.  Couples intending to be married are asked to please contact the parish office before making any other arrangements.  Twelve (12) months notice is required so that proper preparation can take place.

 

Anointing of the Sick

This sacrament is celebrated communally once or twice a year at Freeport Health Care Centre, at Trinity Village Care Centre and at Emmanuel Village, Meadowcroft (Fergus Ave. location) and Doon Village Retirement Residences, as well as at Sunday Masses in the parish.  It is also celebrated individually by appointment.
